The best part about planning a vacation is where to go while you’re there. And if you want to go to Orlando, Florida for its tourist attraction, you’re thinking the same way as the roughly forty million others who go there to have their vacation in Orlando and take in the sights.

Probably the first thing that enters the mind of anybody when Orlando is mentioned is Walt Disney World Resort. Not only the largest, it also boasts the highest number of visits in the world. With hotels, water parks, and theme parks to go to, no wonder there are a lot of people wanting to go to Disney World. It’s located around 25 km from the city limits of Orlando, and is the best place for families and kids.

Within Disney, there are four theme parks with a towering structure in each to represent the unique theme, distinct from the other theme parks. Each has its own flavor to cater to different tastes in theme parks, but in all probability, you’ll want to visit each of the different theme parks yourself, which isn’t a bad idea as well. There are also water parks for those looking to cool down in the summer shade while having some wet and wild fun as well.

Universal Studios Orlando

Another very popular place to go to while on vacation in Orlando, Florida is the Universal Studio’s Orlando resort, which is located near the interstate 4. Like Disney, there are subsets to the group, which serves different needs and wants of the visitors. The most popular daytime attraction to anybody who thinks of Universal is the Universal Studios Florida. It is a theme park, much like Disney, that has rides taken from or inspired by the movies made by Universal. The themes are segregated by sections in the park, and there is also a dedicated Kid Zone in the park for active fun.

There are also unique resort-like islands owned by Universal. These six islands also have their own distinct feel to them, like the Jurassic Park Island, taken from the book and movie of the same name. As well as places to go to, there are also hotels to stay in onsite, so visitors will not have to worry about accommodations while staying there.

Sea World Orlando

SeaWorld, best known for Shamu the whale, also has a theme park based in Orlando. However, unlike either Disney World or Universal, there are no distinct themes separating the sections into differently flavored entertainment. But, they do have zoned areas that segregate their various displays onsite. For example, Shamu’s happy harbor, dedicated to children so that they have a place for themselves to keep happy in.

Not only does Seaworld have rides and attractions, it also has exhibits dedicated to the display of marine life. Not only are the activities at SeaWorld fun, but they’re also educational, and let visitors gain new respect for Earth’s sea creatures. Ranked the 7th most visited park in the US, Seaworld is also a very good alternative for everybody to have fun and learn something as well.

With these fine vacation choices, it’s no wonder that Orlando, Florida has become one of the top vacation spots in the World. Having a vacation in Orlando will surely be something that the family will never forget.
